I'm not fond of the star rating system for these critiques, but I really like this. The lighting is great. The shadow makes your flipper-section* pop out . Also the hair color and eye makeup bring out the face, and its a great smile. I think this has great potential, but there are some things you can work on. The composition could be a bit more dramatic. Think about where you place everything in the frame. The random rock or bump behind the head is distracting. I would try cropping the left half slightly closer to her head. The signature at the top right is distracting computationally, and I think it might be better in the lower right. If you are altering your photos, it might be fun to try bringing out that hand print. It is very interesting, and I would like it to pop out more. It's too late, but it would have been cool to see more of a trail in the sand showing how she dot there (maybe from the ocean!). I love the costume, and if you made it, good job. I don't know much about costume design, so if that's the critique you were looking for, I'm sorry to disappoint.
